Recycle Week 2018: 24th - 30th September

Now in its 15th year, Recycle Now's Recycle Week campaign is a celebration of recycling.

The aim of the week is to encourage everyone to recycle more, by helping to understand the benefits of recycling items from all around the home and by offering tips and suggestions to make it easier to recycle!

Each year, Recycle Now encourage the nation to get involved with their increasingly popular Recycle Week campaign, by taking part in the national campaign and local events to celebrate the fact that more and more of us are recycling.

Each year the campaign is getting bigger and better with increasing numbers of high street brands and well-known retailers and manufacturers wanting to join in.

We can all make a difference

This year the nation realised that recycling can help solve some of our biggest environmental problems. In the wake of the increased awareness of issues, such as plastic in the ocean, we realised that more and better recycling can help with pollution and climate change. We realised that each and every one of us can make a difference just by making some small changes.

We are a nation of recyclers and  more and more of us are recycling. But now we do it because we know it matters.

Recycle Week 2018

This year’s theme will be 'Recycling. We do. Because it matters.’ It will be the biggest and best yet and will run from 24th–30th September. There will be lots of different ways to get involved - from local events to competitions to spreading the word via attention-grabbing social media campaigns.
